The waves of life can be challenging.

We all need someone to walk alongside us through the challenges of life.

I provide a caring,  non-judgmental, and authentic place to share and find support through trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions and many other challenges.  I love to help everyday people work through challenges and begin thriving again.

Amy D. Byrne, LMFT

Here's a little about me. I hope it will help you in deciding if we would be a good fit to work together.

I am passionate about seeing people grow.  I believe that there is more we have in common than we have that is different from one another.  I believe that I have things to offer you, to help you heal, grow and bloom and that we will learn from each other along our journey together.

I have enjoyed being in the helping field throughout my life.  It has lead me to many opportunities to get to know a wide range of people and value their many unique and beautiful lives both locally and in other areas of the world.  In pursuing my education I was naturally drawn toward the helping professions and received a Bachelor's in Social Work and later a Master's in Counseling Psychology.  I have experience working with children, young adults,  families, those in the foster care system, as well as those with special needs.

I am a wife and a mother of 3 teens, one of whom my husband and I had the privilege of adopting and growing with through the process of building attachment and navigating special needs.

I hope I get the chance to learn more about your story.
